Croat prices wore realised at a clearing sale held at Tikorangi on Wednesday by Mr Newton King, when Mr W. Rook’s dairy stock and plant were cleared. Air Hook is onfe ol Taranaki’s best farmers, and knows bow to use bis land and cows to the best advantage, and the condition and quality oi Ji is grade Jersey herd reflected the greatest credit upon him. Tim,highest price was obtained ,for a broken-colored Jersey cow, for which £2O was paid, but ether cows brought near this. The line of dairy cows with the exception of one three-quarter cow made the fine average of £l4 10s Gd. •
