The body of Ethel May Houghton, aged twenty-two yeafa of age, was found on a road outside the show grounds at Broadmeadow, Newcastle. The head was almost severed from the body. ■ The blood-stained razor was near by,and indications of a struggle lead the .police to suspect a case of murder. The colliery fire affects three hundred men. , Brisane, July 27b.
