THE PANAMA CANAL.

TO BE OPENED FOR COMMERCE ON AUGUST 15. [By Electric Telegraph—Copyright] Times and Sydney Sun Services. Washington, July 25. It is announced that the Panama Canal will he opened for commerce on August 15th. The opening will he celebrated by the passage of the Government vessel Christobal only. Vessels with a draught of 80ft will .be allowed to use the caqal.
