THE USE OF "DOPE." [By Electric Telegraph—Copyright] [United Press Association.] London, July 23. The Jockey Club announce that the saliva of Redfinch, which was taken on the 16th inst., did not show there had been doping. The stewards made the test because of the horse's unusual excitement before and after'the race. The stewards announce that they will occasionally examine saliva in order to satisfy themselves that rule 176 is being observed, but will not publish tho results unless thev discover that 'drugs have been administered.
