FOOTBALL MATCHES AT PANAMA EXPOSITION.

On the strength of the argument that it would prove a valuable advertisement to Australia, the Minister of Works promised to recommend that a substantial sum be given to assist the funds for, sending two football teams, picked from all the States, to give exhibition matches in connection with the Panama Exhibition.
