The Hindus replied to the ultimatum by repeating their demands for provisions and passage money back to India. A committee of nine local Hindus went out to the Komagata Mam to try to effect a conclusion,hut the Hindus aboard refused, reiterating then demands for provisions and cash. The warship Rainbow and the militia will take action at once. (Received 1.45 p.rn.) Vancouver, July 21. As a result of the visit of local Hindus to the ship, a conference of officials was held and a second ultimatum was sent to the Komagata Mam, hut the details are unkiiown.
