ACCIDENTS & FATALITIES.
[P»r Prkbi -Amooiatiok 1 Auckland, July 20. While attempting to board a car in motion at Xawmarket on Saturday night, Alfred Langwe'll, aged 85 years, slipped under the ca'r and had his right foot badly crushed. Tt was found necessary to amputate his foot. Langwell's cheeks were badly cut, and several of his teeth were knocked out.
