Young Widow's Charms.
TRAGEDY AT ALEXANDRIA SHOOTING AND SUICIDE. [By Electric Telegraph—Copyright] [United Press Association.]. (Received 9.5 a.m.) Sydney, July 21. A tragedy occurred at Alexandria. A young widow named Mrs Annie Ginman alighted from a tram and a man named Charles Thompson accosted Mrs Ginman, who ordered him not to talk to her. Thompson felled her to the ground, and drawing a revolver, shot her, and then bolted. The police,followed Thompson to his home, but he refused to admit them. On forcing the door, Thompson fatally shot himself. The woman is not in a serious condition. It apepars that Thompson has been trying to force his attentions upon Mrs Ginman ,and on Saturday threw a number of bricks through the window of her residence.
