Members of the Egmont Club will meet this evening to decide what candidate they will support. Toj further the interest of the % Fire Brigade candidate, Mrs George-Smith (Royal Blue and White), a dance will be held in the Fire Brigade Station on Thursday evening at 8 o'clock. Cards and cosy corners have been arranged for' non-dancers. Messrs B. Burgess and (.'•. Stewart arc joint senetaries.
