BERNARD'S PICTURES. The new monarch series of pictures to be screened at Bernard’s Theatre to-night is. stated to make a rare programme. • The star drama, entitled “The Yellow Jack,” is a stirring story of the East, and is replete with thrilling incidents and beautiful scenic effects. ‘‘Warwick Chronicle,” and a trio of comics headed by Kalends screamer, “’Vaccinating the Village.” Yitagraph will present a line western dramagraph entitled “Big Bob Waits.” Young Joe decides to go west to seek his fortune. After many years of a wild career, during which he has earned the name of “Yellow Joe,” lie is seized with a longing to return home and begin life afresh. He writes to the old people that he will come hack if assured of their forgiveness. Joe at once starts on his journey, hut he encounters “Faro Frank,” a desperate outlaw, who is wanted by Big Bob, the sheriff. In a row Faro Frank shoots him dead, and takes the money and papers from him. Frank decides to impersonate the .unfortunate man he has killed. The old people receive him without .suspicion, and treat him with slick’ kindness that lie resolves to make amends. He throws himself into his work and proves to ho a great comfort to the old people, who are overjoyed to iind their son has turned out so well. A storekeeper’s duo is investigated by Big Hob. and he soon finds out how matters stand, and goes to arrest his man. Arriving at the house during the son’s absence, the sheriff announces himself to the old people as a friend of their boy’s from the west. They entertain him with all kindness, but beg him on no account to persuade him to go west again, as he was so necessary to them in their old ago. Bob was so moved at the entreaties of the simple old people that ho hastily decides that he is unable to wait until Frank returns.
