Auckland, July 15. Northern Boxing Association championship lights wore fought last nigh-, with the following results; — •Bantam.—H. Gilchrist beat S. Brahm. Feathers.—-J, Newson (Taumarunui) beat P. N. Bennetts. Light Pvvoights—M. James beat F. Craig. Welter.—J. Holland (Taumaruuui) beat J. Grantham. Middle-weight.—P. W. Class heat J. Cadman. Heavy-weight.—C. Savory won from J. M. Hugh, who hurt his wrist iu tlie semi-finals, by default. The committee chose the following team to compete at the New Zealand championships at Wanganui:— Bantam,' H. Gilchrist; feather, N. Bennetts; light, N. James; welter, Grantham; middle, P. W. Class; heavy, C. Savory.
