John, Hissoy, barrister, is suing for a divorce from bis wife, the actress Queenie Mersill. Albert Whelan, an Australian music hall artist, is co-respondent. Hissey, in evidence, stated that ho ran through a fortune of £30,000. His wife then claimed the right to frequent night clubs with other man, arid one day she threw herself on the ilodr and confessed to misconduct with Whelan at the Grand Hotel, Birmingham, The case was adjourned.
