WORKMEN’S AWFUL DEATH

RESCUE UNAVAILING. [By Electric Tblegeaph—Copyright] [United Press Association.] Paris, July 15. Two workmen crawled into a small orifice in a large boiler with tar inside. Suddently their shrieks and the smoke attracted attention, but attempts at rescue were unavailing. It is supposed they dropped an electric lamp which ignited the tar. The bodies were recovered, but were unrecognisable.
