THE JERSEY BREEDERS.

[Pee Peesb -Association.] , Wanganui, July 15. The annual meeting of the New Zealand Jersey Breeders’ Association was held to-day. The annual report showed a very satisfactory state of affairs, the Society having funds totalling £875, showing an increase of 100 per cent, during the year. Messrs R. J. Linn (Normanby), J-J, B. Lopper (Lepperton), and C, G. C. Dermer (Cheltenham) were elected to fill three new vacancies on the council. ft was decided to increase the judges’ list by at least twenty names. It was resolved that the Government he asked to improve its herd of Jersey cattle, and that the present system of marking cattle be continued. ,Mr J. Mcßae was elected a life member. , } It was resolved to hold the next meeting at Hamilton.
