OBITUARY NOTICE.

On May 27th, on 'hoard R.M.S. Athenic, seven days after leaving Rio do Janeiro, there passed away, Eleanor Maria Butler (Nellie), aged 50, death being certified by the ship’s doctor as due to heat apoplexy. The funeral took place at sea at 11 o’clock the same night, the Rev. J. Wilkinson, Vicar of Epsom, Auckland, performing the last rites.
