WEATHER FORECAST.
The Government Meteorologist (Be? D. 0. Bates) telegraphed this afternoon as follows *.— The indications ar# for westerly winds, strong to gale, and veering by west to soiith shortly. The weather will probably prove squally with heavy showers, and become colder. The barometer has a faling tendency, but will rise after about 16 hours.
