ANNUAL REPORT. The nineteenth annual meeting of shareholders of the Midhirst Co-op. Dairy Factory Co. will be held in the Midhirst Public Hall on July 27th. The following annual report will be presented:— Your directors have peasure in presenting their nineteenth annual report and balance-sheet, showing the operations of the Company for the past year. The following figures show the working results:—Milk received, 1912-13 33,438,221, 1913-14 38,028,906; average test 4.0, 4.0; lbs fat J,341,711, 1,520,548; butter made 1,570,486, 1,791,614; lbs. milk to lbs. butter 21.29, 21.22; over-run 17.05, 17.82. The balance-sheet shows a surplus of £6778 Is, which will suffice to make a further payment of 1 and J of a, penny on butterfat for the months of September to May inclusive. The suppliers will then have been paid at the follinwing rates:—June 12kl, July and August 13d, September 13Jd, October to May inclusive 12|d. Average payment for butterfat for season, 12.65 d. Cost of manufacture .97d. The following directors retire, by rotation, and are eligible for re-election: Messrs John Jago, Wm. Rogers, and H. A. Rumball. Nominations for vacancies on the Hoard must be in the hands of the secretary not later than 12 o'clock noon on 18th July, 1914. You will be requested to appoint an auditor in place of Mr T. H. l'enn, who again offers his services.—Wm. Skedgwell, chairman; R, J. Hog£, secretary. In accordance witli notice given, Mr T. Cuthbert will move: "That Article 14 of the Company's Amended Articles of Asosciatioh be deleted, and the following article substituted therefor:— 14 'Upon a poll every member shall have one vote only irrespective of the number of shares held by him.' "
