The Government Meteorologist (Rev D. 0. Bates) telegraphed chia afternoon as follows:The indications are for:—Freshening northerly strong winds to gale. Expect an unfavorable change in the weather. The weather appears likely to bo cloudy and unsettled, with rain following. Barometer falling.
