DONNELLY’S FIRE LOSS.
£20,000 ABOVE INSURANCE.
[Pbb Press Association.] Napier, July 4. The total insurances on Mr Donnelly’s house were £BOOO i nthe Commeieial Union office, hut the loss is considerably above that sum. Mr Donnellv paid £6OOO for the property and spent £IO,OOO in improvements. Some very valuable paintings and Maori carvings of historical interest were destroyed. The total loss over and above the insurance is estimated at £20,000.
