£20,000 ABOVE INSURANCE. ;■: EPkb Pbebs AfiBOOIATION. J Napier, July 4. The total insurances on Mr Donnelly's house were £BOOO i nthe Commercial Union office, but the loss is considerably above that sum. Mr.. Donnelly paid £6OOO for the property and spent £IO,OOO in improvements. Some very valuable paintings and Maori carvings of historical interest were destroyed, The total loss over and above the insurance is estimated at £20,000.
