SITUATION IN MEXICO.
BRITISHERS LEAVE THE CAPITAL [By Electric Telegraph—Copyright [United Press Association.] (Received 12.30 p.m.) Mexico City, July 2. Fifty British residents, including thirty women and children, arc leaving the capital for Vera Cruz, where they proceed to Jamaica. THE DESIRE FOR SETTLEMENT.
Washington, July"2. Communications warning the factions in Mexico have been sent.
The representatives of Huerta formally addressed to the mediators a note which will be transmitted to the Constitutionalist representatives at Washington. The delegates express willingness to dismiss measures for peace with the Constitutionalists in order to bring the civil strife to an end.
