BERNARD'S PICTURES. The star feature picture. at Bernard’s new picture series to be presented to-night will include Vitagraph’s sensational drama, entitled “The New Generation,” which is a stiring drama, “Sicilian Cities” is an A.B. scenic; “The Great Steel Beam” an Edison drama; “Patho Gazette,” (topical); “Anguished Hours” an A.K. drama; “Bunny for the Cause” a Vita comedy. Whenever Mr Bunny finds himself con. fronted by a difficult problem, whether it 1 be in business or other methods, he goes to his wife with it and gets her to help him out. He does not realise to what an extent he is indebted to her for advice and thinks that his success is due entirely to his own efforts. Subsequent events deal most amusingly with woman’s suffrage, Mrs Bunny being an ardent supporter. “Grenoble to Aix Le Bains” is a beautiful colored scenic. “Max and a Daughter of Albion” is a Pathe comedy. , Whilst travelling, Max makes the acquaintance of .a lovely English girl, and although neither can understand a word the other says, succeeds in learning where she is going. As soon as possible, Max visits his new friend, and finds her in the Paris showrooms of her father, a bath manufacturer. The arrival of papa with a customer compels her to hide her adorer behind the curtain of a shower-bath. Papa must needs give a demonstration with this very bath, and Max, disclosing himself half-drowned, gets a quick and lively shift out of the place.
