NEWTON KING'S HAYMARKET REPORT. For my Haymarket sale on Saturday last I had a fair entry of pigs, chiefly weaners, prices ruling were easier , one pen of weaners making! 18s 6d, all other lines were very rough and backward in condition. I quote: Slips and weaners from 7s 6d to 18s Gd, small and backward up to 5s 6d. sows £2 17s 6d to £3 15s, hacks £6, plough £5, tine harrows £2 10s, quantity harness, timber and farm sundries selling well.
