BERNARD'S PICTURES. To-night's new series of pictures to bo screened at Bernard's Theatre is stated to be a particularly potent programme of photo plays. The star feature drama "The Silver Skull." over 2000 feet in length, is a superior Vitagraph drama, replete with every adjunct necessary for strong dramatic sensation. The suporting pictures in. dude "National Park of Lapland' : (scenic), "The Witching Hour" (col. com.), "Gaumont Graphic" (topical). "The Colonel's Adopted Daughter" K.B. drama," "Uncle's Namesakes" is a clever story written about the Thanhouser twins. Uncle John thinks they are boys, but later learns of the deception practised upon him. The scenes are lightly amusing, and the picture will be well received. "A Blast Furnace" is the title of a Gaumont educational film, and Keystone's limit comedy is a stretcher called Mabels Love Affairs." SKATING AT THE TOWN HALL. " The afternoon sessions at the Town Hall continue under the direction of Mr Syd Bernard. The "glideaway" opens daily at two o'clock, and patrons express their satisfaction with the state of the floor and the general management of the rink. To-morrow (■Thursday) afternoon special music will be provided for the delectation of the roller skaters, of whom a large number are expected to be present. In; the pursuit of this exhilirating exercise, it has to be remembered that the management do not provide skates, but judging from the attendances so far, there are many who own roller skates in Stratford and district.
