NEWTON KINC'S WEEKLY REPORT. On Friday, 12th inst., at my Kaponga yards, there was a fair yarding with a good attendance. Competition was best tor good conditioned cows, and yearlings, the whole of the yarding soiling as follows .-—Fat cows good £6 19s to £7 10s, forward cows £5 15s, £5 10k, £5 6s, £5 2s, £5, £4 19s, £4 16s, £4 13s 6d, £'i 10s, good store cows £3 lis to £4 4s lighter framed cows £2 IGs to £3 6s, aged cows £1 8s to £2 ss, empty colored heifers £3 5s to £3 12s, weanev heifers £1 14s to £1 17s 6d, small £l, mixed weaners £1 8s to £2 Is. weedy £1 to £1 -Is, small hulls £2 12s. 6d to £4 2s, lambs small 12s Bd. At I'ivmii, on Monday, loth inst, there was a fair entry of cattle, and several pens of sheep, most of which were cleared during the day. Any good pens of ! weaners elicited brisk competition the smaller stuff being rather hard of sale. Forward' cows sold, very read ily and any steers offered cnunged hands at the hammer. Several good lines of springing and in calf heif i ers irere offered and - I had a bette' 1 enqtiify for the latter sorts, especially anything showing well in calf and j with size and condition. On account of other vendors dairy cows made £ll, £lO Is, £9, £B, £7' 10s, £6 ss, £6, guaranteed cows £4 5s to £6 10s.
