WEATHER FORECAST.
The Government Meteorologist (Rev D. O. Bates) telegraphed this afternoon aa follows: The indications are for variable and strong breezes but westerly moderate to strong winds prevailing and freshening, and veering by W. to S. again after about 16 hours. The weather appears likely to be cloudy arid unsettled. Rain probable. Barometer shows a falling tendency, but will rise again after about 16 hours.
