NEW CIVILIAN SERVICE. [By Electric Telegraph—Copyright] Times and Sydney Sun Services. London, June 24. The Admiralty is creating a branch of the service open to civilians. The age of candidates will be restricted to eighteen to thirty, and they will be required to sign an engagement to serve for four years, followed by four years in the reserve. The pay will be slightly higher than the submarine service.
