BATTLESHIPS FOR GREECE
PURCHASED FROM U.S.A. (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) [Unitwd Pherb Association.) (Received 8.40 a.m.) The sale of the battleships Mississippi to Greece for about twelve million dollars was approved by the House in a vote of 174 to 87. The formal protests from Turkey have not altered the plans of- the Administration. The ships will possibly bo in the hands of Greece within a week.
