ALEXANDER’S SUCCESSION REASON FOR ABDICATION. I [Bt Elsoteio Telegraph—Copyright j [United Phesi Association.] (Received 9 a.m.) London, June 24. Reuter’s Belgrade correspondent states that King Peter abdicated in ■favor of Alexander on the ground of continued ill-health. Prince Alexander is the second son of the King, and was born in 1888. In 1909 Prince George, the elder son, voluntarily renounced his rights to the succession, and Alexander was recognised as heir to the throne.
