AUCTION BRIDGE RULES.
THE REVISED VERSION. [By Electric Telegraph—Copyright] Times and Sydney Sun Services. London, June 23. The laws of Auction Bridge as revised by the Portland Club have been issued. The chief point is the abolition of the dual value of the Spades suit, the lower value being eliminated, while the royal value remains. The value of other suits is: Clubs, six; Diamonds, seven; Hearts, eight; no trumps, ten. The dealer is no longer compelled to make a declaration.
