j AUSTRALIAN RACING. [By Klkotrio Telkgraph—Copyright] [Onited Press Association.] Sydney, June 22. Weights have been declared as follows : Epsom.—Top, Gigandra, 9.10; Ventura, 9.0; Bon Ton, Anna Carlovna, 8..U3; Valhalla, 7.13; Moohbrisi, 7.12; Balboa, 7.9; Allegation, 7.7. Metropolitan Handicap—Top-weight. Cagou and Lillyveil, 9.0; Jack Delaval and Bon Ton, 8.11; Anna Carlovna, 8.10; B6n Rave, Beau Soult and Cherubini, 8.4; Valhalla, 7.10; Moonbria, 7.8; Balboa, 7.0; Allegation, 7.5. (By CICERO.) Napier Park Racing Club received fair acceptances for their steeplechase meeting, which opens to-morrow. With Hawke's Bay form as a guide, punters should hold their own. Leapuki and Morecomb'e are nicely handicapped in the Moteo Hurdles. On Hawke's Bay form, Stroller was let into the Petane Hack Steeplechase at least lOlbs too light, even admitting time in Merrie Lad and Leolanter he will be up against, better horses. Byron ran well last week, and will probably start favorite in the Stewards' Stakes. The horses engaged in the Napier Steeplechase are very ordinary, considering the race is worth £IOO. Exotic (11.10) is not overburdened when the class of his opponents is considered.' Kauroa (10.0) show;d a glimpse of last year's form on Thursday last, and allowing for improvement must take beating. Gondolier and Sir Lethe are great jumpers, but only have that chance. Idealism (10.2) is really well in,,'and as the country is not difficult, should get round, and, in that case, he must take no end of beating. Idealism, Kauroa, and Exotic should be well supported. Cloudy Dawn, on Hawke's Bay form, will command respect, in the Ahuriri Hurdles, whilst Day Fly (11.7), despite her load, will probably start favorite in the Settlers' Hack.
