ACUTENESS OF THE CRISIS BETWEEN GREECE AND TURKEY [By Electric telegraph—Copyright] XUnixud Fbtm Association.] (Received 10.20 a.m.) Athens, June 22. An official communique declares that the reported hastening of Turkish Dreadnoughts and the laying of mines in Smyrna and the Dardanelles are considered provocative acts, seriously aggravating the situation. The King, in an interview, said Europe's duty was to prevent war, but the Powers appeared to be inadequately informed of the acuteness of the crisis.
