The Hindus’ legal representative has decided to apply to the Courts to compel tli© Immigration Enquiry Board to render, its decisions in each case without withholding its decision until all tho Hindus aboard have been examined. If the mandamus to this effect is granted, the Hindus will apply for a habeas corpus, whereby the Hindus will be certain to gain entrance to, Canada. Feeling is inflamed against the Hindus, who are sending letters threatening the life of Inspector Read, head of the Immigration Department. Ottawa, June 20. The Government has received an assurance that the Japanese cruisers will mot lend marines to restrain the mutinous Hindus on the Komagata Mar n.
