A woman entered a gunsmith’s shop and excitedly asked for a fully-loaded revolver, alleging that she was afraid of burglars. The gunsmith’s wife sold her a weapon loaded with blank cartridges. The purchaser /went straight to the hqulse of her lover, who had deserted her, and fired two shots at him. She was surprised that he was not hurt, and they were reconciled.
