During 19,12,as a step towards improving the draught horses of Xejv South Wales, tffe Department of Agriculture imported - - three Clydesdale stallions and three mares, which were distributed at Hawkeslmry Agricultural College and Waggfi and Bathurst Experimental Farms. During a recent visit to Wagga Experiment Farm, the Minister for Agriculture for Victoria and the director of his department inspected one of these stallions, Clandale, and niade an offer of £IOOO for him. The New South Wales Department of Agriculture has, however, 'refused this flattering offer.
