NAVAL CADETS.
AT COMMONWEALTH COLLEGE. (F"" EITSOTRIO TELEGRAPH—COPYRIGHT^ [United Press Association.] (Received 10.5 a.m.) Sydney, June 16. Regarding the suggested training of detachments of their shrdluel:aoin of detachments of New Zealand naval cadets at the Commonwealth Colleges, Mr Millen says that the question needs careful consideration. Possibly the authorities will be unable to take any this year, but would be in a position to take a limited number at a subsequent period. He said he desired to help New Zealand as much as possible in this respect, but. under existing arrangements what he wishes might prove too great a tax upon the institution. The college authorities are enquiring into details, and will probably furnish a report on its practicability.
