THE GENERAL ELECTION.
Mr H. Okey, M.P. for Taranaki, will probably address the electors before the House sits on June 23. Mr W. Forbes, in response to requests from town and country electors, has decided to contest the Taranaki seat at the forthcoming election. He will address the electors early next month. At a meeting of the Reform party at the Eltham Theatre Royal on Saturday afternoon, Mr C. A. Wilkinson, the sitting member, was chosen as the party’s candidate for the Egmont electorate at the coming election.
