FIRE.
[Pre Feess Association 1 ■*€"•'" ;; Gisborne, June 11. A fire gutted offices owned by W. Good and occupied by Richards (Land agents), Erthington (lawyer), Hei and Dawson (lawyers). The premises of Busche and Parker (land agents) and Airey (draper), were partially gutted, and damaged by water, and the goods, in the jewellery shop of Locketts and the surgery above also suffered from water. The fire occurred in old inflammable buildings, and had a big hold when discovered, but the brigade made an excellent save of the goods. The buildings were insured for £IBSO, and the jewellery stock which was little damaged for £1620. Airey's drapery stock, which was mostly destroyed, was valued at £2500.
