WACCA WACCA RACES. [By Electric Telegraph—Copyright] [United Press Association.] Sydney, June 10. At the Wagga Wagga races the Li'censed Victuallers' Cup resulted : Wild West 1, Harvest Moon 2, Inveran 3. THE CLASSIS CASE. [Per Press Association.] Wellington, June 11. The Judges appointed by the Racing Conference—Messrs G. Hunter, J. G. Duncan and 0. S. Watkins—to consider the Manawatu R.C.'s appeal against the Wanganui District Committee's decision in the case of T. Wilson, owner and trainer of the horse Classis, and T. George, jockey, disqualified for six months in connection with the running ef Classis in the Linton Hack Welter Handicap at the Manawatu meeting on 29th April, 1914, met in Wellington yesterday. The appeal was dismissed on the grounds that the evidence was not sufficient to justify the conclusion that T. George did not try to win. The judges failed to find anything in the evidence which is not consistent with innocence on the part of T. Wilson, and they are therefore of opinion that the Manawatu Club failed to establish his guilt under part XXXIII., Rule 1, of the Rules of Racing.
