Tarrant, for Middlesex, bowled 7 for 31 in the second innings. v Lancashire made 474 and 475 and defeated Kent, who made 212 and 110. Huddleston bowled 7 for 70 in the first innings and 4 for 37 in the second. Heap bowled 2 for 94 and 6 for 40. Both bowled throughout.
