BREACH OF PROMISE CASE. [By Electric Telegraph—Copyright] Times and Sydney Sun Services. New York, June 8. Signor Caruso, the famous tenor singer, paid £OOO in settlement of Mildred Meffertli’s £20,000 breach of promise claim, which was commenced in 1908. Caruso’s letters signed “Baby” were‘iurrendered.
