NEW PLYMOUTH WINTER SHOW.

Wednesday will see the opening of the Winter Exhibition, the best yet offered for the instruction and amusement of the general public of Taranaki. The time for the official opening has been arranged for 2.30 p.m., and will be performed by H. J. Okey Esq., M.P. The other speakers will be the Hon. 0. Samuel and the President of the Society, Mr J. B. Connect. All arrangements are now well advanced. Visitors to the show, although expecting a. good deal, will not bo disappointed, as every particle of space in the immense hall, and the annexes will be occupied, and th* exhibits will be the very best that can bo produced, bolides which, th« numerous side shows will be a source of amusement. The Government exhibit, which will he the best and most extensive yet shown in this part of the district, will be under the charge of Messr* Cbolmoley, Glassan, and Pattio, who will he pleased to impart information to those seeking sams. Another exhibit which will be of great interest to farmers and breeders generally, will be that of Mr A. F. Street, who will give a display of photos of some of the host HolsteinFriesian in New Zealand. Visitors, from outside New Plymouth are reminded of the special and dulaytfd trains and excursion fards,
