Heavy rain is falling and should give the English Rugby team the advantage against New South Wales. The visitors are putting on the full strength. * The press is commenting unfavorably on the visitors’ action in not replacing an injured man, qs the spectators were deprived of witnessing an even game and their opponents were deprived of the full fruits of victory. Experts consider that the Englishmen were too heavy and slow. There was too much of the Dreadnought about the forwards. The Englishmen were previously beaten because the fori wards were not fast, weighty and rugged enought to cope with Australian opposition. The English selectors seemed “gone” on a heavy forward man. Kelly, an ex-New Zealander’s trickiness, Border’s all round play, and Messenger’s phenomenal goal-kicking were features of the match.
