WEATHER FORECAST.
The Government- Meteorologist (Rev D. O. Bates) telegraphed this afternoon as follows: The indications are for heavy westerly gale, veering to south after about 24 to 36 hours. The weather will probably prove very boisterous. Rivers rising. Heavy showers, with hail and sleet at times. Barometer unsteady, but. rising fast after about 24 hours. The weather will then probably become very cold.
