NEW PLYMOUTH WINTER SHOW.
Exhibitors are reminded that entries for the popular Winter function close with the secretary, P.O. box 19, New Plymouth, to-day at 9 p.m. The Raglan people, who . are evidently alive to the interests of their district, are taking advantage of the exhibition to show what can bo produced in that part of the country. With this object in view, they have secured space in the main hall and will make a large display for exhibition only. The Society have arranged with the Taranaki Rugby Union to place on exhibition at the Show, the Ranfurly Shield, which was won from Auckland last year by our representatives. It has also been arranged that the first representative match of the season in Taranaki will be played at New Plymouth on Thursday, June 11th. Special trains and excursion fares have been arranged for this day, so that football match and the Show should be well patronised.
