THE TROUBLE IN ALBANIA "UNEASY LIES THE HEAD, ETC." [By Electric Telegraph—Copybight [United Pbess Abhooutioh.j (Received 9.10 a.m.) Durazzo, May 24. The Mttiisßori refused to march against the insurgents, alleging that their duty was to protect the King of the Albanians. The gendarmerie, under Dutch officers, is marching on Schiak under cover of guns mounted on the hills round Durazzo. Heavy firing is in progress in the direction of Schiak. Foreign residents, at their own request, have embarked aboard the Italian warships. Naval detachments with the exception of the Legation guards have rejoined their respective vessels. Members of the International Commission went to parley with the insurgents, who captured four Dutch officers. The Commission returned with the insurgents' representatives who wish to confer with the King. The latter, accompanied by his staff and the Italian admiral, have landed. ESCAPADE OF MUTINEERS. THEIR PURBUIT AND SURRENDER. (Received 10.46 a.m.) Athens, Mar 24. Lieutenant Foridis, a young Epirote officer, persuaded 250 mi embers of his battalion to accompany him to Epirus to fight the Albanians. The mutineers seized a steamer and forced the captain to proceed to Santi Quaranta. Greek torpedoers pursued and overtook the mutineorSj who surrendered.
