The Government- Meteorologist (Rev 0. O. Bates) telegraphed this after ioon as folio wo:— The indications are for northerly moderate to strong winds prevailing and veering by north to west. There is a prospect of fair to cloudy weather with increasing haze and cloudiness. Expect a cold night. The barometer has a falling tendency.
