IGp.) or thereabouts, and I comprises the site of the former Fern Doll house, with the grounds laid out land planted by Mr Chilman, rivalling in beauty even the best parts of our famous Pukekura Park. The orchard contains one of the finest collections of old bearing fruit trees within the, extended Borough of New Plymouth, the pear and plum crops being usually particularly good. This property has no duplicate in Taranaki, and affords an excellent site, sunny and sheltered, for a residence. It is situated close to the High School and Park, and is surrounded by the homes and gardens of Messrs S. Percy Smith, C. Alder, Fred. Bayly, F. P. !Gorki 11, M. Fraser, and the Yen.
