Affidavits have been received by the State Department, showing that Parks was shot by a firing squad upon the Mexican commander’s orders. The Peace Conference has settled the details of procedure. The proceedings are private. Amongst the killed in the battle of Paredon was General Mounoz, a nephew of ■‘Porfirio Diaz.
