A FREEZER AT MARTON.
SUPPLEMENTARY WORKS. [Pku Pkess Association.] Marion, May 19. A largely aettended meeting of farmers and residents of Marten to-day unanimously accepted the proposal of the Wellington Meat Export Co. to erect supplementary works, providing that 10,000 shares were allotted to settlers of the district. A proviso was added that the works ho erected upon the most suitably site between Kakariki and Marten Junction. A strong canvassing committee was elected to canvass the district for support.
